Setting the editing start (IN) point

1. Press the HOME key on the front panel to open the
Home Screen.
2. Touch the
EDIT MODE
mode.
3. Use the m/, keys (or other controls) to locate the
timeline cursor to the position (time) where you want
editing to start.
4. Touch the
SET/SELECT
menu.
5. Touch the
button in the pull-up menu to set
SET IN
the editing start (IN) point.
The IN mark ( ) will appear in the mark display area at
the current position.

Setting the editing end (OUT) point

6. Use the m/, keys (or other controls) to locate the
timeline cursor to the position (time) where you want
editing to end.
7. Touch the
SET/SELECT
menu.
8. Touch the
button in the pull-up menu to
SET OUT
set the editing end (OUT) point.
The OUT mark ( ) will appear in the mark display area
at the current position.
The interval shown in light blue between the IN (
) and OUT ( ) marks will be affected by editing
operations.

Clearing the start and end (OUT) points

1. Touch the
SET/SELECT
menu.
2. Touch the
button in the pull-up menu. When
CLEAR
a confirmation pop-up appears, touch the

The current IN and OUT points are removed, and the
IN ( ) and OUT ( ) marks disappear
