The camcorder focuses the subject in the center of the viewfinder automatically
• The subject at the center of the viewfinder is in focus.

• On "T" side: about 2.6 feet (80 cm) from the lens surface to infinity
• On "W" side: about 3/8 inch (1 cm) from the lens surface to infinity
The auto focus will not work under the following conditions.
1 Objects not in the center of the viewfinder
2 Objects at far and near positions at the same time
