Use and Care

The headset's arch-shaped ear rest is placed over whichever
ear you choose. The tip of the supporting arches rests behind
the ear, providing the necessary stability during use. The mic
boom descends from the ear and should be placed close to
the mouth in a favorable audio position. Bend the boom and
headset slightly for optimal fit.
Connect the Mini-XLR or 3.5mm phono plug of the
microphone cable to the input jack of the bodypack
transmitter or power supply adaptor. When using a power
supply adaptor, connect it to the microphone input of an audio
preamp that provides phantom power.
The HM-35 assembly has been moisture-proofed to guard
against deterioration during use. After use in a high moisture
application such as aerobics or a stage performance, remove
the foam screen, wipe the headset with a dry soft cloth and
permit it to air-dry. Do not store the unit in a closed space
(e.g., a plastic bag) until all moisture has evaporated, and
avoid conditions of extremely high humidity. This will help
maintain the HM-35's excellent performance. While the
HM-35 is not unusually sensitive to the outside environment,
extremes in temperature can be harmful. Avoid leaving the
microphone in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
