    1 Description 1.1 Functions The EchoLife BM635 WiMAX CPE (hereinafter referred to as the BM635) is a next generation gateway device used in the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) network. The BM635 provides a new service experience for users.
  • Page 14: Rear Panel

    When the indicator illuminates in its full swing, it indicates that the highest signal strength is reached. It indicates that the BM635 is being upgraded or Blinking the software is damaged. It indicates that the BM635 cannot receive a signal from the WiMAX network.

    The schematic diagram of the cable connection is for reference only. You only need to connect a required device to the BM635. When the cables are connected correctly, the BM635 will search the WiMAX network automatically, and can be used after the network is connected successfully.

    IP address of the BM635 are in the same network segment. Note: By default, the IP address of the BM635 is 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. For example, you can set the IP address of the computer to 192.168.1.100 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.

    A user password is used to allow a user to set network parameters. The password is classified into two levels: admin and user. After the admin user log in to the BM635, you can modify the two level passwords and must keep the new password in mind.
