Countermeasures
- Check if the DVR power cord is properly connected.
- Check the voltage of the currently connected power outlet.
- If an additional power controller is being used, check the controller
operation status and the power cable connection.
- If the system is not turned on even after completing the above
procedures, please call after-sales service.
- Expected parts to be replaced in after-sales service: power, switch,
and main board
- Check the corresponding camera number connected to the DVR
main body and check if the connector is properly connected.
- If the video cable is properly connected to the DVR main body,
exchange the cable with another one connected to another
camera that works properly and then retry.
If this exchange works, it means that the video signal may be too
weak or not exist.
In this case, call your system provider for after-sales service for the
camera, cable or video distributor.
If the exchange does not work, the video cable of the company or
the C/B (capture board) may be defective. In this case, call
after-sales service.
- Check if the "Motion / Always /MOT/REC/SEN" message appears
at the top right of the camera window in the DVR surveillance
screen.
If the above message does not appear, check if recording
schedule is set in the settings, and if the recording area is properly
set.
- Check if a data drive exists through the settings.
(In general, data drive "D" must exist.)
- If screen does not appear when the power is on, check if the
monitor cable is disconnected.
- Check if the beep sound is generated when the system is turned
on. If the beep sound is not generated, the reason for the problem
may be a VGA card or main board defect. In this case, call
after-sales service to resolve the problem.
- It may be caused by defective data HDD. If an additional HDD has
been installed, remove the HDD and boot the system.
- Otherwise, it may be caused by defective contact of the board due
to dust inside the system.
If you open the cover and remove the dust from the system board,
the problem may be resolved.
- Default password is <4321>.
- For the procedures to reset the password, please contact
customer support center and ask for help.
- Check if Event Popup is selected in the screen layout settings.
If Event Popup is selected, deselect the option. Then you will be
able to select a channel.
- If no data in the calendar is circled and the recording is displayed
as "0%", it means that no recording has been made until that time
or the recording has been initialized.
- Check if there is a data drive. If there is a data drive, check if its
attribute is not set to data.
