3 How the MP3 radio chime works

The MP3 radio chime with light flash and memory serves as an
audible and visual signal actuator reporting various states in the
HomeMatic system.
Signalling commands can be sent via taught-in sensors (e.g.
pushbutton, remote control) or a central control unit (CCU1). As
such, the actuator described can be used as a doorbell, a burglar
alarm or similar.
Furthermore, audio files stored in the memory can be used for
audible signalling. The device is supplied with a default audible
signal stored in the memory.
