Compatible Lenses
11 Range of rotation for A180-200mm f!2.8 ED tripod mount is limited by camera body. Filters can not be
exchanged while A1200-400mm f!4 ED is mounted on camera.

13 Can be used in manual exposure modes at shutter speeds slower than

14 Exposure compensation required when used with AI 28-85mm f!3.5-4.5, AI 35-1 05mm f/3.5-4.5, AI 35-

15 Hold the camera in "tall" (portrait) orientation when attaching the Bellows Focusing Attachment PB-6.

Lenses for Autofocus
Autofocus with this camera is supported only by AF-S and AF-Ilenses. AF-S and AF-Ilenses are
equipped with an autofocus motor. Autofocus is not possible when any other type of lens is
mounted, regardless of the autofocus capabilities of the lens itself.

Recognizing CPU and Type G and D Lenses
CPU lenses can be identified by the presence of CPU contacts, type G and D lenses by a letter on the
lens barrel.Type G lenses are not equipped with a lens aperture ring.
