FILTER REPLACEMENT

Filter Change Calendar: The filter calendar is
designed to optimize the performance of the
air purifer by reminding you when to check the
HEPAtech
and Pre-filters. It is located around
®
the speed control dial.
Pre-filter Calendar: The outer knob of the
filter change calendar is the pre-filter counter.
To use, align the pre-filter symbol (
the ring with the month that you installed the
pre-filter. The inspection symbol (
the outer knob points to the month in which
you should check the pre-filter for wear. The
pre-filter is designed for 3 months of usage.
Replacing or checking the pre-filter (
) in May means the filter would need to be
checked again (
Pre-filter is secured to the inside of the front
grill with hook tape. To change the pre-filter,
remove the front grill, Figure 1, and gently
remove the pre-filter from the unit. Secure the
new filter to the hook tape and replace the
front grill.

Filter indicator is located in the center of
the calendar ring. To set the HEPAtech
Filter counter, rotate the calendar ring to
align the filter symbol (

To change the filter, remove the front grill,
Figure 1, and gently remove the HEPAtech
filter from the unit.
NOTE: Remember the orientation of the filter
when removing. Your new filter will be inserted
in the same manner.
Secure the new filter inside the unit and

NOTE: To avoid the risk of electric shock, the
unit should be unplugged before cleaning.
1. Clean the outside of the unit with a soft,
damp cloth. The front grill can be cleaned
in soapy water after it has been removed
from the unit and the pre-filter has been
removed. See Figure 1.
NOTE: Ensure the grill is completely dry before
reinstalling it on the unit. Failure to do so
could cause damage to the filters or motor.

2. At least every 90 days, open the front grill,
remove the carbon pre-filter, and replace it.
This is necessary to maintain proper odor-
removing and overall filtration performance.
If necessary, it can be changed more
often. Remember to change the Pre-Filter
Calendar Dial to reflect the new
Pre-Filters installation and to remove any
plastic wrapping that may be on the new
filter before you place it into the Air Purifier.
