    InseRTIng baTTeRIes (dave) 1 . Using a small screwdriver, remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of Dave . 2 . Insert 3 AAA batteries (included) according to the polarity indicators inside the compartment . 3 . Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding the two tabs on the cover into the slots at the bottom of the compartment and replacing the screw .
