SSID
In this field, you can configure the SSID (Service Set ID) of the
connection partner you want to connect your PC to. To do this, do
the following:

Network mode
In this field you can configure the network mode according to the
type of network to which your PC should be connected.
Values:
Ad-hoc
Infrastructure
Default setting: Infrastructure
Transmission
In this field you can set the Transmission rate which should be

configured for data transmission.
Values:
Auto
54M, 48M
36M, 24M
18M, 12M
11M, 9M
6M, 5.5M
2M, 1M
Default setting: Auto
Channel
In this field, the Channel number your PC should use to
communicate with a connection partner can be configured.
(only for Ad-hoc mode).
Values:
1–13
Infrastructure mode: Configure the SSID first at the Access
Point. Configure the same SSID for all wireless network adapters
of the network.
Ad-hoc mode: Configure the same SSID for all network adapters
of the network.
Your PC should be connected to an Ad-hoc
network.
Your PC should be connected to an Infrastructure
network.
When this value is configured, the setting of the
transmission rate is automatically regulated,
dependent on the respective field strength.
Magnitude of the transmission rate set (in M =
