    Getting Started After your phone has been powered up, the system boots up and performs the following steps: Automatic Phone Initialization The phone finishes the initialization process by loading the saved configuration.     Customizing Your Phone You can customize your VP530 IP video phone by configuring the setting for time and date, backlight, and ring tones, for example. You can add contacts to the phone’s local directory manually. You can also handle incoming calls from different contacts in different ways.

The phone connects to load the corporate directory, and then displays the corporate contact list on the LCD screen. Press the Back soft key to back to the previous interface. The local call log supports maintaining up to 400 entries. You can view the history list, place a call, add a contact or delete an entry from the history list.

Note When the DND mode is activated, the phone will reject all incoming calls automatically. Redial You can use this key feature to access the Dialed Calls list when the phone is idle.

That is, you can configure your phone to dial out the phone number, which matches a dial-now rule, in a fixed time.     User Guide for VP530 IP Video Phone Intercom is a useful feature in an office environment to quickly connect with the operator or the secretary. You can tap the configured intercom key to automatically connect with a remote extension for outgoing intercom calls, and the remote extension will automatically answer the incoming intercom calls.

    Advanced Phone Features By default, the VP530 IP video phone supports to answer an incoming intercom call automatically. The phone automatically plays a warning tone when it receives an incoming intercom call. In addition, you can enable the phone to mute the microphone when it automatically answers an incoming intercom call.

If Intercom is enabled, the phone automatically answers an incoming intercom call. If Intercom is disabled, the phone rejects incoming intercom calls and sends a busy signal to the caller.
