4. Drain pump

The machine is equipped with a self-cleaning
pump which does not need any cleaning.

5. Emergency emptying out

If the water is not discharged, proceed as
follows to empty out the machine:
I
pull out the plug from the power socket;
I
close the water tap;
I if necessary, wait until the water has cooled
down;
I
place a bowl on the floor;
I
put the drain hose end into the bowl and let
the water come out.

6. The dangers of freezing

If the machine is exposed to temperatures below
0°C, certain precautions should be taken.
I Turn off the water tap.
I Unscrew the inlet hose.
I Unhook the drain hose from the rear support
and position the end of this hose and that of
the inlet hose in a bowl. Run the draining
programme until the selector dial is in the
"Stop" position.
I Switch the machine off.
I Screw the inlet hose and reposition the drain
hose.
I When you intend to start the machine up
again, make sure that the room temperature
is above 0°C.
