PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
STEERING SYSTEM
Check the steering system for exces-
sive freeplay by:

If you feel excessive freeplay, or hear
rattling sounds which may indicate
loose steering components, consult a
Yamaha dealer.
BACK-UP BUZZER
Check the back up buzzer by moving
the drive select lever to "R" for reverse.
The buzzer should sound.

PEDAL OPERATION
Check the following pedal controls for
proper operation. If a pedal does not
work properly, consult a Yamaha deal-
er.

Make sure the brake pedal feels firm
when pressed and returns to its origi-
nal position when released.
