Air Filter Element Cleaning - Yamaha BANSHEE Owner's Manual

When installing a spark plug, always clean the
gasket surface and use a new gasket. Wipe
off any grime from the threads and tighten to
the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Spark plug:
20 Nm (2.0 m0kgf, 14 ft0lbf)

Air filter element cleaning

NOTE:
There is a check hose at the bottom of the air fil-
ter case. If dust or water collects in this hose,
empty the hose and clean the air filter element
and air filter case.
1. Remove the seat. (See page 4-12 for seat
removal and installation procedures.)
2. Remove the air filter case cover by
unhooking the fasteners.

3. Remove the air filter element assembly,
and then remove the air filter element
from its frame by turning the lock plate.
