2 - OPERATION

Control panel (fig. 27)
The cooker hood can be operated as follows:
SWITCH L
= controls the worktop
illumination;
SWITCH V1 = controls the fan speed for low
speed, should be selected when
simmering or using only one
pan: the noise level is kept to the
minimum.
SWITCH V2 = medium speed, should be
selected for normal cooking. This
speed offers the best ratio between air capacity and noise level.
SWITCH V3 = top speed, should be selected when frying or cooking food with strong odours, even
for a long period.

3 - MAINTENANCE

Constant maintenance is a guarantee for long-lasting working order and efficiency.
Special care should be taken of the metal antigrease filter and activated carbon filter (for filter hoods
only).
3.1 - Metal antigrease filters
1 - Cleaning
It is necessary to wash these filters at least every two
months with a normal detergent; their compact size
enables them to be washed also in dishwasher.
2 - Replacement
The metal grease filters panels are easily removed, one
at a time, by applying slight inward pressure to the
actuators to release the securing bolts (fig. 28). Care
should be taken to support the filter with one hand
while releasing the securing bolts with the other hand.

3.2 - Activated carbon filters

1 - How they work
The activated carbon filter can hold odours until it
reaches total saturation. It is not washable nor can it
be re-used, but should be changed at least every 4
months or more often in case of intensive use.
2 - Replacement
Remove the antigrease filters and the activated
carbon filter from its seat by acting on the hooks
(fig. 29). Fit the new activated carbon filter and
the metal antigrease filters.
