4. The duct put into the unit inlet blower should be taped
at the joint and the inlet collar.
5. Clearance to combustible material is 0".
SAFETY WARNING: Before wiring the
unit, turn off the proper circuit at the
service box.
6. Run electrical conduit up through extruded hole in
bottom of the remote blower. Connect it to the bottom
of the "J" box (Fig.13).
The range is equipped with a factory installed ventilator
intake and an exhaust plenum which will not be shipped
separately. The plenum exhaust outlet is located below the
oven in the base area shown in Fig.14. An Integral Blower
Model VTN30Q or Remote Model VTR1000Q Blower
System must be installed with the range. (Blower systems
are purchased separately).
INSTALLING AN INTEGRAL BLOWER
THE VTN30Q blower may be mounted prior to or after
range installation depending on duct and taping variables.
The integral blower housing inlet (See Figure 15) fits over
the plenum outlet ring (Figure 14), and is secured to the
plenum with a blower mounting bracket.
The blower may be rotated in various directions to achieve
right side, left side, rear or floor venting. See pages 10 to 12
for specific installation steps.
Threaded rods included in the blower kit will be secured to
the mounting nuts "A" or "B" shown in Figure 15. Further
installation instructions are specified in the following
sections.

7. Run five #14 AWS wires (white, red, blue, black and
green) to the conduit, (Fig.13). For the wire connection
between the remote blower and range see page 7 and
Figs. 8 & 9.
