Connecting equipment with HDMI terminal (TV, DVD recorder, etc.)

Use a Panasonic HDMI cable for best results.
To enjoy 1125p (1080p) images, use a Panasonic cable shorter than 5.0 m to avoid image deterioration.
Attaching and securing the ferrite core (included) near to the terminal

the tabs (in
two places)
to open.
By using the connection shown on this page,
video and audio signals are sent to the television
even if this unit is turned off. This is useful when
you want to enjoy late night viewing only with the
television's speakers.

Note
When you turn this unit off, the audio/video signals from
a recorder connected to this unit's BD/DVD HDMI input
terminal are output through the television, even if you
have set input on this unit to anything other than "BD/
DVD" ( pages 20 and 21). (The selector returns to the
previous setting when you turn this unit on again.)
