    Quick Start Follow steps through to position the SDM pod and go for a run. Remove the top strap and Loosen shoe laces and slide unseat the SDM pod from pod clip under laces. the bottom clip. Secure the SDM pod with Turn SDM pod ON.

    Auto-Calibrate the SDM Pod Once calibrated, the Speed Distance Monitor (SDM) pod is more than 97% accurate for most runners. Calibrate the SDM pod by running 400-800 meters on a marked track, then adjust the watch to exact distance. The SDM pod will need to be calibrated each time you replace the watch battery.

    Using the Chronograph In Chronograph View, you can mark lap times and total times during your run.     Setting Pace Zone The speed at which your run or walk is your pace. Pace is measured in minutes per mile or kilometer. Setting pace zones allows you to train within a fast or slow pace limit. With the pace zone turned “on”, the watch will display HI and LO arrows to indicate you are running outside of your zone.

    Set the Auto-Lap Feature The chronograph contains an Auto-Lap feature which will automatically mark a lap after a determined distance. You cannot manually mark laps when Auto-Lap is activated. Follow steps through to set up the Auto-Lap feature. EXIT 3 sec Scroll to RUN mode.

    Setting “My View” Display “My View” allows you to create your own view in RUN mode with the information you use the most during your workout. When activated My View will appear as the first view in RUN mode. This feature allows you to choose which information appears in the Primary (larger) and the Secondary (smaller) displays.

    Linking the SDM Pod to the Watch The SDM Pod has a unique digital ID to avoid crosstalk with other pods. Before your pod can communicate properly, the watch must be linked to the SDM pod to establish and share this ID. The original pod which came with the watch was linked at the factory.
