Section 4: Call Functions

This section describes how to make or answer a
call. It also includes the features and functionality
associated with making or answering a call.
Note: Keys shown in this section represent keys shown on
the front of the phone. If you have the phone open in
landscape mode, then press the corresponding key.
For more information, refer to "Call Settings" on
page 121.

Displaying Your Phone Number

Making a Call

From the Idle screen, with the phone open,

use the keypad to enter the number you wish
to call and press

Note: When you activate the Auto Redial option in the Voice
Call menu (Menu

Auto Redial) the phone automatically redials up to

10 times when the person does not answer the call or
is already on the phone.
Making an International Call
1. From the Idle screen, press and hold
The + character displays.
2. Use the keypad to enter the country code,
area code, and phone number.
3. Press .
Manual Pause Dialing
To manually call a number with pause(s) without
storing it in your Contacts list:
1. From the Idle screen, use the keypad to
enter the phone number.
