    etting Started You have just purchased an air cleaner and it has been installed by your installation specialist. Your Owner’s Instructions contain valuable information on using your air cleaner. Please take the time to read them as they will help you take full advantage of the unit’s features.

Do not use old batteries or different kinds of batteries together. Batteries may be completely discharged after 12 months, even if they have not actually been used.

    Selecting the Automatic Operating Mode You can start the air cleaner in the Automatic mode from your remote control. In the Automatic mode, the optimum fan speed is selected automatically.     Setting the Sensitivity & Cleaning Cycle You can set the sensitivity of the pollution detection sensor and cleaning cycle of filters. Turn the air cleaner off, then open the front grille. Set the sensitivity by adjusting the sensitivity switch. (Sensitive) : The sensor senses minute particles and tobacco smoke.

    Cleaning Your Air Cleaner Be sure to clean the filters periodically to maintain the air cleaner in the best condition for a long period of time. When cleaning your air cleaner, turn it off and pull out the power plug. Open the front grille, then pull out the air filter.
  • Page 15 To Clean the Ionizer Filter flickers, clean the Ionizer filter. Open the front grille, then pull out the Ionizer filter by using the filter handle. Dissolve an alkaline detergent in tepid water, then put the filter in the water for 30 minutes. Do not handle the detergent with bare hands.

Pull out the deodorizing filter located at the rear of the Ionizer filter. Clean the filter by shaking it in tepid water. Dry the filter in the shade, then insert the filter into the original position.
