Troubleshooting Minor Faults

Repairs must only be carried out by our Customer
Service or an authorized technician.
If repairs are needed, and assuming that you cannot
eliminate the fault yourself with the aid the following
table:
1. Turn the programme selector to OFF.
2. Disconnect the washing machine from the mains.
3. Turn off the water tap.
4. Call Customer Service (refer to Page 35).
Cause

Detergent was damp or lumpy.
A fuse has triggered. gg
Power failure.
Plug is loose or not inserted.
Action
Select DRAIN or SPIN B.
Wait for 2 minutes.
Clean and dry the detergent
dispenser; see Page 28.
Use the dispensing aid for liquid
detergents.
Switch on / replace the fuse.
Call Customer Service if this fault is
repeated.
An interrupted programme will be
resumed when the power returns. If
the washing is to be removed,
proceed as described under
"Cleaning the drain pump";
see from Page29.
Insert the plug.
