If your television only supports dual-channel audio, then an audio signal with 3 or more channels is down-converted, with
output through 2 audio channels. It is not always possible to down-convert all discs.
For HDCP compatible units with DVI connection (e.g. PC monitor)
Depending on the unit, it is possible that the picture is not perfectly reproduced with a DVI/HDMI adapter. The audio signal
is not transmitted in this case.
HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is a form of copy protection transmitted via HDMI connections and
partly via DVI (Digital Visual Interface). The units must be able to decipher the copying protection to permit playback.

Connection with HDMI cable

The HDMI connection can be used only with units that are compatible with HDMI.
Digital audio and video signals are transmitted uncompressed in high quality with
only one cable.
Connect the satellite dish to LNB IN of the DVD Recorder.

Connect the HDMI OUT of the DVD Recorder with the HDMI input of the

television.
Connect the DVD Recorder and the television to the power supply system.

After completing the above connections, the DVD Recorder proceeds with the
Automatic Setup.
