Data and Fax Calls

A Motorola Original™ data kit or a Bluetooth™
wireless connection lets you transfer data between your
phone and a computer or other external device. You
can:
• synchronize data between your phone and an external
device with Starfish TrueSync
accessory product. See the TrueSync user guide for more
information.
Note: TrueSync software is designed to synchronize with
basic features of many popular Personal Information
Management (PIM) software and hardware products.
• use your phone as a modem to connect to the Internet
• use your phone to send and receive data and fax calls on
your computer or hand-held device.
Connecting Your Phone to an External
Device
Connect your phone to an external device (such as a computer or
hand-held device) using a Bluetooth wireless connection, a serial
cable, or a USB cable.
To connect your phone using Bluetooth™ wireless technology,
see the user guide for your Bluetooth Phone Module and
accessories.
Note: Not all devices are compatible with Bluetooth, serial
cable, or USB cable connections. Check your external device for
specifications.
