Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to display the
desired setting.
– "TONE" (default): For tone dial service.
– "PULSE": For rotary pulse dial service.

L The next feature will be displayed.

Press {MENU}.

3.8 Date and time

The date and time can be set using either the
cordless handset or the base unit.
L The other party's fax machine will print the
date and time on each page you send
according to your unit's date and time setting.
L The accuracy of the clock is approximately
±60 seconds a month.
L The date and time may be lost after a power
failure. In this case, set the date and time
again.

unit is connected.
L Ensure that w is not flashing.

Select "Handset Setup", then press {>}.

Select "Time Settings", then press {>}.

L The cursor (|) will appear on the display.

Enter the current date/month/year by
selecting 2 digits for each.

incorrect number, and make the correction.

Press {1}{0} {0}{8} {0}{5}.
Enter the current hour/minute by selecting 2
digits for each. Press {*} repeatedly to
select "AM", "PM", or 24-hour time entry.
L When neither "AM" nor "PM" are
displayed, 24-hour time entry is selected.
Example: 15:20 (24-hour time entry)
Press {1}{5} {2}{0}.
Press {j/OK}.
Press {ih}.

Press {MENU}.
SYSTEM SETUP

SET DATE & TIME
Press {SET}.
