Finding a Phone Number

You can search Contacts entries for phone numbers that contain a
specific string of numbers.
To find a phone number:
1.
Enter three or more digits in standby mode. (The more numbers
you enter, the more specific the search becomes.)
2.
A list of matching entries will display, To display the Contacts
Entry you're looking for, highlight the entry and select View
(right softkey).
3.
To call the entry, highlight the desired number and press
Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses
You can dial or save phone numbers with pauses for use with
automated systems, such as voicemail or credit card billing numbers.
There are two types of pauses available on your phone:
Hard Pause sends the next set of numbers when you press
2-Second Pause automatically sends the next set of numbers after
two seconds.
Note:
You can have multiple pauses in a phone number and combine 2-second
and hard pauses.
To dial or save phone numbers with pauses:
1.
Enter the phone number.
2.
Select Options (right softkey) and select either Hard pause (
or 2-sec pause (
2-second pauses as a "T".)
3.
Enter additional numbers.
4.
Press
– or –
To save the number in your Contacts list, select Save (left
softkey).
Note:
When dialing a number with a hard pause, press OK to send the next set
of numbers.
