While you're jogging or walking, you can change the volume of the
music and select different songs. You can also lock the pace or
change it to a different tempo. (See "Operation During Exercise" on
page
42.)
At the start of the 'warming up' and 'cooling down' segments, "Warm Up" and
"Cool Down" appear respectively in the display and remain for about two
seconds, followed by the normal exercise displays.

When you press the ▲/▼ (Up/Down) buttons simultaneously after
pressing the [MENU/BACK] button once, the 'cooling down'
segment begins—a slower song plays back to help you slow down
your pace. After about three minutes passes and the cooling down
segment reaches its end, music playback stops and the session
ends.
A log showing detailed information on your session automatically appears.
You can also start cooling down by holding both ▲/▼ (Up/Down) buttons
together.
Pressing both the ▲/▼ (Up/Down) buttons again after pressing the [MENU/
BACK] button during the cooling down ends the session immediately and
calls up the log display.
If a goal is set in advance, before the set target has been reached, the cooling
down segment begins automatically. After about three minutes passes and the
cooling down segment reaches its end, music playback stops and the log
display appears.
n
When the Learning Function
the log display appears and prompts you to update the maximum heart rate and tempo.
The indications and operations for the session log displays in the Fitness
modes are the same as in the Free Workout mode. (See
