Using your phone as a
modem
Your LG-GW382f can double
as a modem for your PC, giving
you email and internet access
on the go.
1 Connect your phone to your PC
as outlined above.
2 Click on the "Internet Kit" icon.
3 If you have not set up an
internet connection with this
program before, the program
will automatically prompt you
to create a new internet profile.
Otherwise click the "New"
button.
4 All settings should be
automatically entered for you.
If not select your "Country"
and "Network Provider" from
the drop down list to get the
settings for your network. Do
not try to manually configure
your connection without clear
instructions from your network
provider.

5 Click "Save" to confirm the
new profile.
6 Double-click on the new profile
to use it.
7 Once connected, an icon for
"InternetKit" should appear in
your system tray.
8 When you are finished using
your phone as a modem, right-
click on the system tray icon
and select the "Disconnect"
option from the menu that
appears.
WARNING: Avoid changing
settings accessed through
clicking the "Advanced" button.
Do not try to manually configure
the QoS settings without clear
instructions from your network
provider. Connection speed may
decrease when default QoS
settings are changed.
