Y our freezer has 1 or 2 removable basket. It allowsyou
to storefood more accessably or you can removeit if not needed.
Defrosting and Draining The Freezer
Defrostwheneverthe frost becomes 1/4" thick. Neverusea sharp or
metallicinstrument t o removethefrost asit maydamagethecooLing
coils.(A punctured coil will void the warranty )
T urn thetemperaturecontrolto OFFpositionand unplugtheunit.
For draining, placea tray beneaththeouterdrain plug. P ull out the
drain dial (seefig. #2a) and rotateit so thatthearrowpointsdown
ward.This will let thewater flow out into thetray .
R emovethedrain plug from theinsideof thefreezer(seefig.#2b).
Defrostingusuallytakesa fewhours.T o defrostfasterkeepthe
freezerdoor open. Whendone, pushthedrain dial in and turnthe
arrowto theup position.R e-plug thedrain plug insidethefreezer
compartment. Note:
overflow .
Wipe theinteriorof thefreezerand replacetheelectricalplug in
the electricaloutlet.
R esetthe temperaturecontrol to the desiredsetting .
