ADDITIONAL PHONE SERVICES
In addition to making and receiving phone calls in Phone mode, you
can use Call Waiting, Call Hold, and Call Forwarding.
Call Waiting
Call Waiting allows you to switch between calls. It is always ON
unless you turn it off for a specific call.
Answering an Incoming Call Waiting
1.
If you're already on a call, you will hear a tone to alert you of an
incoming call. Your display shows the incoming number and asks
"Take Call?".
• To accept the call, press
• To decline the call, press
"No". If you're a Nextel Voice Mail
customer, the call will be forwarded
to your Nextel Voice Mailbox.
2.
To switch between calls, press
under "Hold". This allows you to
move between the two calls.

To end the active call, press
Turning Off Call Waiting
You can turn off Call Waiting if you do not want to be interrupted
during a call.
1.
Press
until you see "Wait", then select "Wait".

Press
under "Off". Call Waiting will be disabled for one call,
but will automatically reset to "On" after that call.
Call Hold
When you're already on the phone, you can place a call on hold and
make a second call. The option "Hold" appears only when you are on
an active call.
1.
To place the active call on hold, press
then answer or place another call.
2.
To toggle between the two calls, press
