SYNC-TO-TAPE mode "OFF" is enabled. This means that CapDiv
recording as soon as the two front panel buttons, PLAY and RECORD, on

are simultaneously depressed. Step 1: Hold the RECORD button
and press the PLAY button at the same time. (This is a standard two-button
record method utilizing the front panel control buttons.)
NOTES:
• Some camcorders will issue a RECORD command via the IEEE 1394 cable
when the RECORD button is depressed. In this case, even if CapDiv
the SYNC-TO-TAPE mode "OFF", it will automatically begin recording when
the RECORD button is pressed on the camcorder – regardless of the
SYNC-TO-TAPE mode condition.
