1. GENERAL SAFETY RULES

WARNING! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.
Work Area
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks that may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children away. All visitors should be kept at a safe distance from work area.
Electrical Safety
This tool is intended for use on a circuit that has an outlet that looks like the one illustrated in the sketch. The
tool has a grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in the sketch. Grounded tools must be plugged into
an outlet properly installed and grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances. Never remove the
necessary, do not connect the equipment-grounding conductor to a live terminal.
Safety Instructions
Due to the nature of the machine, safety rule and proper procedure must be followed. Otherwise, the high torque
of the motor, moving parts and electricity could cause body injury and property damage.
Ground machine. Use approved three-conductor cord and three-prong ground type plug in a grounded
receptacle.
Use only three-wire extension cords, which have three-prong grounding plugs, and three-pole receptacles
that accept the machine's plug. Replace or repair damage, frayed, broken or worn cords.
Use Proper Extension Cord. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension
cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will
cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The following table shows the correct
size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage.
The smaller the gage number, the heavier the cord.

grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter. Check with a
qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. If
the tools should electrically malfunction or break down, grounding provides a low
resistance path to carry away from the user. Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. The conductor with insula-
tion having an outer surface that is green with or without yellow stripes is the equip-
ment-grounding conductor. If repair or replacement of the electric cord or plug is
