Gun Lead Connections Power Cable - Air Cooled A #2 power cable is used on the Python Lincoln Compatible gun. The gun and Power Pin ends of the cable are stripped to the copper strands and wrapped with a copper strip. A setscrew holds the cable securely in the gun body and in the Power Manifold with torque requirements of 55-60 in-lb. -

*Must be ordered together Control Cable A multi-conductor control cable is used on the Python Lincoln Compatible. The gun end of the cable is secured with a cable clamp and the wires are connected to the potentiometer, the micro switch, the motor and the gun body mechanically. -
Page 12: Drive Roll And Idler Rolls
Drive Roll and Idler Rolls General The Python Lincoln Compatible gun comes standard with a knurled drive roll and a grooved idler roll, which will handle aluminum wire with diameters of .030 to 1/16 inch and steel from .030 to .045 inches. Optional insulated V-groove drive rolls are also available for aluminum wire if desired (see Optional Kits). -
