    INSTALLING BATTERIES 1. Unscrew the battery cover locking screw (Figure 1). 2. Remove the battery cover and install three AAA batteries. Make sure that the batteries are inserted in the correct position (Figure 2). BATTERY TIP To avoid damage from battery leakage and corrosion, 1.

    RECEPTION TIPS To help improve or maximize reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. Rotate the antenna for optimal reception. You can also physi- cally carry the radio to different locations to improve reception. WEATHER RADIO The NOAA Weather Service continuously broadcasts both local and distant weather information 24 hours a day.
