NOTES:
• To turn off Wi-Fi, go back to the Settings
screen, and set Wi-Fi to Off.
• When you turn Wi-Fi back on, your
phone will remember the network
settings and automatically connect.
Play To
Play To function which is compatible
with the Digital Living Network
Alliance (DLNA) service. And so, learn
to use Play To function that enables
you to play back and control media
files between DLNA-enabled devices in
your home over a Wi-Fi.
Before you start!: You must first
activate the Wi-Fi feature and add a
Wi-Fi network connection profile.
Customise Play To settings for

Streaming media files

To allow other DLNA-enabled devices
to receive media files from your device,
you must activate Play To(media
sharing).
1 On Start screen, tap the arrow
to go to your App list and select
Play To.
2 Tap Device icon on the notification
bar.
3 Adjust the following settings to
customise the Play To feature:
- Settings > System > Wi-Fi to On.
- You need to be connected to the
Wi-Fi network before you choose
the target device for Play To.
NOTES:
• Some files may not play on the DLNA-
enabled devices.
• Playback may not be instantaneous,
but instead buffered, depending on the
network connection and the connected
server.
• You will need a DLNA-certified device
that supports DMR (Digital Media
Render) service for use with Play To. Go
to http://www.dlna.org/products/ to
check if your device is compatible.
