Remove and paint the grilles before inserting them onto the frames: recommended. AW52: Using a paper clip bent into a “hook” shape, insert it into a grille near the corner and pull the grille away from the cabinet. AW82: Remove all screws around the outside of the grille to remove the grille from the cabinet.
