BC-190
- The end of the battery pack's working
life.
• When the indicator blinks within 1
hour from the start of the charging,
charge the BP-227 without a trans-
ceiver or with a powered-off trans-
ceiver. In case the charge indicator
still blinks red, replace to a brand
new BP-227.
When the charge indicator does
not light even after a battery pack is
inserted properly, the battery pack
may have some problems.
While Charging:
• AVOID transmission. Remove the trans-
ceiver from the charger when you need
to transmit.
• REMOVE the transceiver immediately
from the charger when you receive a
call.
• REMOVE optional equipment from [SP
MIC] jack of the transceiver.
NOTE:
The BC-190 will not fully charge a battery
pack (about 90% of fully charged condi-
tion) for battery protection. And the oper-
ating time of a transceiver with the battery
pack will be shorter. If you would like to
fully charge the battery pack, use the BC-
119N instead of the BC-190.
