MMR-8 and MMP-16. Installing the MMR/MMP Software Update To install software in an MMR-8 or MMP-16, first make sure the unit to be updated already has Version 3.0 or higher software installed (software installed from the two Rescue Disks is also acceptable). - Page 4 NOTE: Version 4.5 contains these fixes for new "M2 version" MMR-8/MMP-16 hardware ONLY. Future software releases will expand this fix to also work on all MMR-8/MMP-16 hardware. If you are not sure which type of hardware you have, contact Tascam with your serial number.
- Page 5 In previous versions, the MMR-8/MMP-16 contained a bug regarding the fade times of its events. If an MMR-8/MMP-16 project was taken to Pro Tools, the fade up and down times were half the duration in Pro Tools. This has now been corrected.
