  • Page 9 This phone is intended for use with a BL-5C battery. Always use original Nokia batteries. The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.

Line up the contacts of the battery and the battery compartment, and insert the battery (6). To replace the back cover, direct the bottom locking catches toward their slots (7), and press down until the cover locks into place (8).

Lift the memory card holder (1). Insert a compatible memory card. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing down (2).
