Unpacking Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely that your petrol line trimmer is faulty or that a part is missing. If you find anything wrong, do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified. -

WARNING. Before each use, ensure the secondary handle cannot swivel by tightening the secondary handle locking knob. Over time, the knob may vibrate loose. 1. It is normal for smoke to be emitted from a new engine during and after first use. 1. Place the line trimmer upright on the ground or on a sturdy bench and wipe any debris from around the fuel cap. -

1. Keep a firm grip on the trimmer with both hands while in operation. The trimmer should be held at a comfortable position with the rear handle about hip height. -

Replacement of the cutting line 1. Stop the engine. 2. Put the petrol line trimmer on the floor in a way that the cutting line and spool assembly (1) is facing up. 3. Open the cutting line and spool assembly (1) by holding the spool housing firmly while rotating the bump knob anti-clockwise. -

CAUTION. After changing the line spool, run the petrol line trimmer under no load for at least a minute to make sure that the line and the tool are both operating correctly. Use only the line spool as recommended by the manufacturer. -

Clean the fuel filter in the fuel tank. • There is water in the mixture.
