    Unpacking Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely that your petrol line trimmer is faulty or that a part is missing. If you find anything wrong, do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified.

    1. Keep a firm grip on the trimmer with both hands while in operation. The trimmer should be held at a comfortable position with the rear handle about hip height.

    CAUTION. After changing the line spool, run the petrol line trimmer under no load for at least a minute to make sure that the line and the tool are both operating correctly. Use only the line spool as recommended by the manufacturer.
