When to charge the tool • New tools are shipped in a low charge condition and must be fully charged before use. Through the charging cycle monitor the tool and make sure that screwdriver is charging.
Know your product This screw driver is for light to medium applications of screws and small nuts and bolts. If the screw driver is unable to rotate the fastener do not over load by holding the switch in the on position and manually rotating the fastener.
Unpacking Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely that your GMC Power Tool is faulty or that a part is missing. If you find anything wrong, do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
To obtain the best life for the tool The screwdriver should be placed on charge whenever the chuck/bit retainer (1) no longer turns. DO NOT continue to use the screwdriver when the charge is exhausted. The screwdriver does not have automatic spindle lock and using the screwdriver with no charge may damage the tool.
