44 Base settings
The access code only applies when you
dial using the keypad. It will not be
automatically dialled when using the
Directory, therefore it is recommended
that you enter the PBX access code at
the start of all directory entries.

PBX access

If your BT Freestyle 250 is connected to a switchboard, you may
need to enter an access code (e.g. 9) to get an outside line.
You can store the access code in the base so that all handsets
registered to your BT Freestyle 250 will dial the access code
automatically before each number.
