    SETTING A MICROWAVE PROGRAMME Your microwave oven is now plugged in and the clock is set. Open the door, set the dish inside on the turntable, close the door. If the door is not properly shut, the appliance will not operate. If the dish is too large to turn freely inside the oven, press the STOP TURNTABLE key before or during the programme.

    THE GRILLING RACK For use when grilling or during combination grilling and microwaving. Make sure that the rack is always well centered on the turntable. Set the dish on top of the rack. Never use any metal dish with the rack with the microwave or grill + microwave func- tions.

  • Page 13 THE MICROWAVE + GRILL FUNCTIONS This function enables you to use the microwaves and grill simultaneously, for rapid cooking. • You may combine each of the 3 grill levels (LOW-MEDIUM-HIGH) with any of the 5 micro- wave power settings (150-350-500-700-1000 W), allowing you to tailor a programme to your specific cooking needs.

    THE PIZZA FUNCTION (only available on DME 113) With the Pizza function and Pizza dish you can save time and energy cooking your favourite dishes which you require to be crispy, tasty and golden brown as if cooked in a traditional oven, e.g. pizza and sausages. The Pizza function uses the microwave and grilling functions simultaneously.

    THE PIZZA DISH (only available on DME 113) Care of the Pizza dish dish Pizza • The inside of the dish is covered with a non-stick coating, so it is not necessary to grease it before use. • Do not cut foods directly in the Pizza dish as this damages the non-stick coating.
  • Page 17 M E M O R Y K E Y M The Memory function allows you to store 3 frequently used programmes which you can then access simply by pressing M. You may memorize any pro- gramme you wish. Example : Use the Memory key to preprogramme heating up a plate of food. Proceed as if setting the programme for immediate use : Press the microwave power key to select HIGH COOK (1000W) is displayed.
