Lamp shuts off
If the indicator light is not lit, most likely the lamp is not
unexpectedly.

Reseat the lamp (see below) or replace it as necessary.
If the indicator light is not lit, it is also possible that the DLP
projector is malfunctioning. If reseating or replacing the lamp
does not solve the problem, please contact technical support.
If the indicator light is flashing green, the DLP projector has
overheated and shut down.
The projector may have overheated due to high temperatures in
the dome. Lower the temperature in the dome by opening a
door. You will be able to turn the light back on after it has
cooled for approximately 90 seconds.
If the dome does not feel hot, the temperature sensor for the
projector lamp may be malfunctioning.
Short term solution: Wait approximately 90 seconds, then turn
projector lamp back on. If you have breaks between classes,
turn off the projector lamp but not the Digitarium Alpha to cool
the lamp. As soon as possible, follow the directions below for
long term repair.
Long term solution: Allow the projector to cool for 45 minutes,
then unplug the projector and remove the lamp following the
directions in the lamp replacement section above. Wait 15
minutes, then reinstall the lamp.
After performing the long term solution, run your projector
(preferably without an audience) for at least one hour. If the
lamp stays on for at least 60 minutes, the issue is resolved.
