I just purchased a Furman Reference 15i and find the “red” outlets all work but the two “black” Discrete Symmetrical outlets do not work no matter what I plug in. If I replug Into the “red” outlets, what didn’t work in the “black” now work. What’s going on with these strange “black” Discrete Symmetrical outlets – are they faulty or too demanding in some way?

The black Discrete Symmetrical outlets on the Furman IT-REFERENCE 15i may not be working because the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) has tripped. This can happen if there is an imbalance in current, possibly due to a partial or full short circuit in a connected component. To restore operation, correct the fault and press the reset tab located between the two balanced AC outlets.
