IDE HDD Block Mode
Enable this field if your IDE hard drive supports block mode. Block mode enables
BIOS to automatically detect the optimal number of block read and writes per sector
that the drive can support and improves the speed of access to IDE devices.
POWER ON Function
This item selects the way you want your system to power on.

KB Power ON Password
Use a password to power on the system, select this option then press <Enter>.

Hot Key Power ON
Use any of the function keys to power on the system.
Onboard FDC Controller
This option enables the onboard floppy disk drive controller.
Onboard Serial Port 1
This option is used to assign the I/O address and interrupt request (IRQ) for onboard
serial port 1 (COM1).
Onboard Serial Port 2
This option is used to assign the I/O address and interrupt request (IRQ) for onboard
serial port 2 (COM2).

UART Mode Select
This field is available if the Onboard Serial Port 2 field is set to any option but
Disabled. UART Mode Select enables you to select the infrared communication
protocol-Normal (default), IrDA, or ASKIR. IrDA is an infrared communication
protocol with a maximum baud rate up to 115.2K bps. ASKIR is Sharp's infrared
communication protocol with a maximum baud rate up to 57.6K bps.

RxD, TxD Active
This feature enables you to set the IR reception/transmission polarity as High or
Low.

IR Transmission Delay
This field enables you to set the whether the IR transmission rate will be delayed
while converting to receiving mode.
