2. Remove the hard drive cover (2). The hard drive cover is available in the Plastics Kit, spare part
numbers 671170-001 (for use only with Beats Edition computer models) and 669075-001 (for
use only with non-Beats Edition computer models).
3. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×6.6 screws (1) and the Phillips PM2.5×4.5 screw (2) that secure
the hard drive to the computer.
4. Disconnect the hard drive cable (3) from the system board.
5. Use the tab (4) on the hard drive bracket to remove the hard drive from the hard drive bay.
