Maximum and Minimum Vent Lengths
NOTICE: The mixing of 2" and 3"
vent pipe is not recommended. If
3" pipe is used, a 2" to 3" bell
coupling is recommended at the
rubber coupling.
This water heater is supplied with
a two-inch Schedule 40 PVC 45°
vent terminal. If you decide to vent
with 3" pipe, a Schedule 40 DWV
PVC 45° vent terminal must be
used. For your convenience
screens for both 2" and 3" vent
terminals have been included.
Minimum vent length for 2" vent pipe is one (1) foot of vertical pipe, one (1)
90°elbow, and three (3) feet of horizontal pipe.
