STEP 1: CONNECTIONS The coaxial cable, with satellite signal, must be connected to the “IF IN” connector. The “TV SCART” connector must be connected to the TV set. When the STB is fi rst used it will display the quick setup page where the receiver can be confi gured quickly. For further use the STB will play the same channel as last time when it was switched off.

Automatically, a message will be shown although the receiver is ON or in Standby. Note: If the date/ start time is prior to the current date/hour, a warning message will be shown and you have to change the date/start time.

If your receiver is connected to a multi switch (SMATV signal distribution system) then it may be that you don’t need to provide the power to the LNB.

    TOOLS 6.5. SOFTWARE UPGRADE There are two ways of upgrading the software of the receiver as you can see at OSD 89. 6.5.1. RS232 UPGRADE 1. This function allows you to upgrade the software of the receiver. This can be done from PC to receiver or from a master receiver to a slave receiver.
