Before Using Scale
Precautions for Use
CAUTION! Use of this device by persons with any electrical implant such
as a heart pacemaker, or by pregnant women, is not recommended.
1. Set switch on the base of the scale to measure in pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg).
2. Set scale on floor. Surface must be level for accurate operation and safety.
Weight Measurement Only
To measure weight only:
1. Choose pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg) by switching
the convertible switch on rear of scale.
2. Operate the scale on a secure flat floor.
3. Tap the scale in standby mode. Whole screen
appears.
4. Wait until all digits light for 2 seconds and
"0.0" appears.
5. Step on the scale and stand still to measure
your weight.
6. Step off the scale and it will shut off automatically.
Personal Data Setting Mode
Set User ID
1. In standby mode, press Set button, the number
"USER 1" will appear and flash.
2. Use user button to select a user number among
4 user numbers (USER 1 to USER 4).
Set Height
1. Press Set button to confirm the user ID and enter
Height setting mode.
2. Use Up or Down button to set your height.
Set Age
1. Press Set button to confirm height and enter Age
setting mode.
2. Use Up or Down button to set your age.
Set Gender
1. Press Set button to confirm age and enter gender
setting mode.
2. Press up and down button to select female or male
icon and then press Set button to confirm gender
selection.
Display and store data
1. Once the gender is set, data storage is complete.
2. User number displays for a few seconds, Height displays for a few seconds, and
Age for another few seconds.
3. The scale is now ready for body analysis measurements.
NOTE:
In personal data setting mode, the scale returns to standby mode automatically if
no button is pressed within 30 seconds.
Body Analysis Measurement
1. Operate the scale on a secure flat floor. In standby
mode, press the User button repeatedly until the
display shows your user number. The scale will display
your personal data (height, age, gender) and then
display "0.0".
2. Step on the scale barefoot with your feet aligned on
the two electrodes on the platform. Weight shows for
several seconds.
3. After several seconds, body fat weight, body fat
percent, body water and bone mass data are shown
on the bottom line of the display
4. The scale shuts off automatically.
NOTE:
If you step on the scale before "0.0" appears or if your
feet are not aligned on the electrodes, the scale will
not function properly.
Instructions For Using Batteries
1. Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the
intended use.
2, Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
3. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery
installation.
4. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
5. Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended
period of time.
6. Remove used batteries promptly.
