Remove the back cover and battery

Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger
before removing the battery.
1. With the back of the device
facing you, push down on the
back cover. Slide the cover
towards the hinge, and
remove.
2. Lift the battery up from its
compartment.

Install the UIM card

The user identity module (UIM) card can be easily
damaged by scratching or bending, so be careful when
handling, inserting, or removing it. The UIM card slot is
located under the battery. Keep all UIM cards out of the
reach of small children.
